camera is back... but I need a scanner

darnit. anyone wanna send me 50$ for a cheap scanner? Here are the two most recent works. Some come easy and some come hard- thats the nature of it, and BTW thats a quote from Norman Rockwell- a badass. His propoganda posters were some serious motivators when I saw them Ill post it....

procrastination: not with my art- thats inevitable- but with buying a camera charger. I had one 'done got stoled' back in Italy and have been surviving on charging over at my brothers every month- but after moving to Boulder I am now faced with the problem of distance. So i bought one and it should be here htis week. Then I can update everyone on what I've been doing. HEEB.

well the piece is done- and yay for that. Perhaps there is more to life than going to work, coming home, drinking coffee, and drawing.painting. But this is sort of a content cycle for myself.

Prolly some variety would be nice- and I'm sure it is on the way.

I need to finish that damned watercolor- but it is a challenge to pick up the paints sometimes. I will get over this tommorow and finish it up.

The drawings are the culmination of the first Burne Hogarth anatomy book that i was studying in preparation for some upcoming comics involving- what else, but the human figure.

The human figure presents itself between Fromalistic art and interpretive/emotional art. On one hand you get to express so much using its forms and shapes- on the other hand you can have a decidedly wrong drawing if you are not careful. In every single one of these drawings there are scale problems or perspective etc. but I am getting closer.

How do comic-artists draw so amazing? They do this about 1000x more than I have been doing- but I hopefully will look back in 3 or 4 years and laugh about how far I have come. I am already beyond what i used to be- and yet have a TON more to learn how to do.

I also wanna start really getting my stuff together into shows and making some real comics (real ie: completed)

now if I could only get up at 7am and go draw for 2 hours before work... i'll try.
